EuroSwac project at Brixham Laboratory

EuroSwac project at Brixham Laboratory

We are delighted to be involved as a project partner on this exciting project.

Environmental assessment buoys:

On Tuesday 28th of June 2022, nke Instrumentation, EuroSwac partner specialist in water monitoring and measurement, came and installed 2 buoys in the Brixham Harbour (UK) with help from the University of Plymouth staff.
These 2 buoys, one static and one to be moved every couple of weeks, have been designed specifically for the EuroSwac project.
Every 10 minutes, they will send environmental data (water temperature, salinity…) to an interface, allowing the researchers from the University of Plymouth to study the environmental impacts of the SWAC system.
This installation was a success, and we all look forward to seeing the first results.
